Window Craft Lifetime Warranty
Warranty Registration and General Terms
In order for the Original Purchaser to register this warranty, they or the authorized dealer must complete the online registration form provided by Window Craft no later than thirty (30) days after the completed installation. This Warranty is the only warranty applicable to Window Craft products and is granted in place of any warranties otherwise implied by law or equity.
Product Quality and Manufacturing Standards
All Window Craft products are manufactured according to established industry standards and company manufacturing tolerances. Through skilled workmanship, advanced technology, and committed staff, Window Craft ensures dependable products and professional service.
Lifetime Warranty on Vinyl Frames and Sash Members
Window Craft windows and patio doors are warranted against defects in materials that may result in blistering, peeling, flaking, corrosion, or fading of frame and sash components for the lifetime of the product from the date of installation.
Lifetime Warranty on Insulating Glass Units
Window Craft warrants that insulating glass units manufactured with approved spacer systems and A quality glass will remain free from visible obstruction caused by film formation or dust collection between panes under normal conditions for the life of the window. Glass breakage is not covered. Special glazing options not listed in standard specifications are excluded.
Hardware Warranty Coverage
Window Craft warrants that window hardware will remain in good operating condition from the date of installation. Over tightening of crank mechanisms on casement and awning windows may cause premature failure and is not covered. All other hardware carries a one (1) year limited warranty.
Patio Door Limited Warranty
Window Craft warrants patio door vinyl frames and sash components against blistering, peeling, flaking, and corrosion for twenty five (25) years.
Hardware is warranted for two (2) years.
Insulating glass panels are warranted against seal failure for ten (10) years.
Mini blinds are warranted for five (5) years.
Exterior paint is warranted for ten (10) years against peeling, cracking, and major discoloration not caused by sunlight, heat, or abrasive materials.
Screen Warranty Coverage
Punctures and tears in screens are covered for thirty (30) days from installation. Replacement parts will be provided at no cost. Labour is not included.
Warranty Limitations and Liability
Window Craft’s liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts at its discretion. Under no circumstances shall Window Craft be responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including labour costs, inconvenience, personal injury, property damage, or related expenses.
This warranty becomes void if the product is altered, misused, improperly maintained, or cleaned with harmful or abrasive products without written approval from Window Craft.
Warranty Transfer to New Property Owners
This warranty is transferable to future property owners. However, Window Craft must receive written or online notice of ownership transfer within thirty (30) days of the new owner taking possession.
Failure to register the transfer within this period will result in automatic termination of warranty coverage.
Warranty Activation and Effective Date
This warranty becomes effective only after completion and confirmation of the Window Craft Warranty Registration Form within thirty (30) days of installation.
Warranties not registered within this period will be considered void and unenforceable.
Exterior Paint and Finish Warranty
Standard Solar Bond paint finishes are warranted against peeling, flaking, cracking, and major discoloration caused by defects in materials or workmanship for ten (10) years, excluding damage caused by sunlight, heat, or abrasive exposure.
Installation Responsibility and Limitations
Window Craft is responsible solely for the manufactured product. All installation related claims must be directed to the authorized distributor, dealer, or installer.
Window Craft is not responsible for disputes between installers and customers. All installations must meet recognized industry standards.
Warranty Exclusions and Non Covered Conditions
The following conditions are excluded from warranty coverage:
• All labour charges for removal, reinstallation, or replacement
• Damage from pollution, corrosion, humidity, improper storage, or coastal exposure
• Structural settlement of buildings
• Damage caused by severe weather or acts of God
• Minor cosmetic imperfections not affecting performance
• Unauthorized repairs or non approved replacement parts
• Improper use, abuse, or lack of maintenance
• Installation of visibly damaged products
• Interior condensation caused by indoor humidity
• Glass breakage or cracking
• Sealed unit only orders
• Design changes or discontinued components
Window Craft reserves the right to substitute components of equal or superior quality when necessary.
